Malibu, CA – Sunday Head-On Crash Injures 5
Malibu, CA (August 6, 2018) – A head-on crash Sunday evening in Malibu resulted in injuries to five people. The crash took place around 8:00 pm near Piuma Road. The California Highway Patrol received a dispatch regarding the crash the that involved a Ford Mustang and a Kia.
According to initial reports, the Mustang was driving recklessly prior to the crash. It veered into the Kia’s lane of travel before the head-on collision. Fire and emergency officials responded to the crash. Five people were treated for injuries, and at least one person was airlifted from the scene with serious injuries.
There is no word at this time on the extent of injuries or the conditions of those victims. Police have not identified anyone involved in the collision nor have they said whether charges will be issued. The accident remains under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
