Madera County, CA: Two Injured in Oakhurst Head-on Collision
Madera County, California (March 16, 2018): Two local Oakhurst resident were injured in a head-on collision in Oakhurst, CA, on Wednesday afternoon, March 14, 2018. Authorities have launched an active investigation into the incident and only limited information has been made publicly available while the investigation remains ongoing.
Officials believe the collision happened just before 4:00 p.m. when a Pontiac Grand Am traveling north on Road 222 reportedly veered across the center median into oncoming traffic and crashed into a southbound Dodge Durango. The 24-year-old man driving the Pontiac and the 29-year-old woman driving the Dodge Durango both suffered minor injuries in the collision and were treated by emergency medical responders that had been dispatched to the scene.
