Los Angeles, CA – One Person Severely Injured After Hit-and-Run Crash
Los Angeles, CA (October 4, 2018) – A 35-year-old man was severely injured following a serious hit-and-run crash at Central Avenue and 43rd Place. The accident happened Saturday, September 29.
The collision took place around 4:45 p.m. A 35-year-old man, whose name has not yet been released, was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle. The driver who struck the man was exiting the parking lot of the Family Farm Market before the pedestrian was struck.
The man was left with severe injuries and immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. The motorist who was responsible for striking him did not render aid and fled the scene. The suspect is still on the run but police continue their search and investigation.
