Los Angeles, CA – Five People Injured in Canoga Park Car Accident
Los Angeles, CA (October 10, 2018) – In Los Angeles, a Canoga Park car accident took place that ended in injuries in five people. The accident took place on Tuesday morning, October 9 and one driver was arrested.
The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Edwin Velez. He was believed to have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the accident. Velez was driving one of three cars that was involved in the accident on North Owensmouth Avenue around 8 a.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said that five parties were taken to the hospital due to the accident. One victim had to be extricated, as they were trapped inside their vehicle. The names and conditions of the victims have not yet been disclosed.
