Los Angeles County, CA: Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash in Redondo Beach
Los Angeles County, California (February 22, 2018): One person was killed and at least two others may have been injured in a single-vehicle crash in Redondo Beach, CA early Saturday morning, February 17, 2018. An investigation into the crash is underway by authorities and information about the accident remains limited while the investigation continues.
The crash is believed to have occurred just after 2:00 a.m. when the struck a curb and concrete barrier on Aviation Boulevard at Huntington Lane. Emergency response crews were immediately dispatched to the scene and arrived within one minute of receiving the report. The vehicle was discovered on its side in a nearby parking lot.
The total number of occupants of the vehicle is unclear, but at least three people, one man and two women, were transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the collision. One of the women was reportedly pronounced dead at the hospital. No updates on the condition of the other two victims have been provided.
