Los Angeles County, CA: Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Studio City

Los Angeles County, California (February 26, 2018): A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a truck at an intersection in Studio City on Friday morning, February 23, 2018. The incident is under an ongoing investigation by the California Highway Patrol and only limited information has been made available at this time.

The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Christopher Banuelos. Officials believe Banuelos was struck by another vehicle just after 8:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Ventura 101 Freeway at Tujunga Avenue in Studio City. Banuelos was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. No additional details have been provided at this time.
