Los Angeles County, CA: Bicyclist Killed in Woodland Hills Crash
Los Angeles County, California (April 5, 2018): A 15-year-old boy was reportedly killed in a bicycle collision in Woodland Hills, CA, late Sunday morning, April 1, 2018. The victim has been identified as Sebastian Montero, of Tarzana, CA.
Officials believe the collision happened just after 11:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Burbank Boulevard, near De Soto Avenue. Though no description of the incident was provided, authorities believe Montero collided with a 2018 Infinity while riding bicycles with a friend. Montero was transported to a nearby hospital but was tragically pronounced dead about an hour after the collision. No one else reported sustaining injuries in the crash.
The cause of the accident has not yet been determined and it is unclear whether the driver of the infinity is cooperating with the authorities. Investigators are still working to gather more information and no additional details have been made available at this time.
