Los Angeles, CA – Three Hurt in Two-Car Crash at 51st & Flower Sts
Los Angeles, CA (August 16, 2023) – On Wednesday, three individuals were seriously hurt in a two-car crash in South Los Angeles.
According to Los Angeles Fire Department Captain Brian Humphrey, four total persons were involved in the crash, which happened at around 6:40 p.m. at a bus stop in the 400 block of 51st Street near Flower Street, but one person declined medical treatment and stayed at the site.
Per information from the scene, a bus was also involved in the wreck but had no passengers, and the driver escaped unharmed.
Officers added that one of the wounded was a pedestrian who was crossing the street when he was thrown beneath one of the vehicles.
It’s not known what caused the crash to occur, though authorities are continuing to investigate.
