Los Angeles, California (March 1, 2018): Authorities are conducting an active and ongoing investigation into a hit-and-run crash with a pedestrian on Normandie Avenue late Monday night, February 26, 2018. No description of the suspect or vehicle has been provided and only limited information has been made publicly available while the investigation remains open.

The victim has not yet been identified. Officials believe he was struck around 11:30 p.m. while crossing Normandie Avenue in the neighborhood of Adams-Normandie.
