Los Angeles, CA – Motorcyclist Killed After San Pedro Collision on S Western Ave
Los Angeles, CA (August 5, 2023) – On Saturday evening, August 5, a motorcyclist was killed in San Pedro after being hit by a vehicle.
According to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Margaret Stewart, the incident was reported at 5:50 p.m. in the 900 block of South Western Avenue, next to Deane Dana Friendship Park and Nature Center.
Per a statement provided by Stewart, the motorcyclist was declared deceased at the site of the accident. There was no information about the rider’s identity.
No other injuries were reported, though officers with the Los Angeles Police Department are investigating the incident.
