Los Angeles, CA – Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident at Paxton St & Glenoaks Blvd

Los Angeles, CA (August 2, 2023) – The Los Angeles Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance locating a motorist who fatally hit a man in Pacoima on Tuesday.

At 11:20 p.m., a dark-colored vehicle traveling eastbound struck and killed a man walking across Paxton Street, just east of Glenoaks Boulevard.

The vehicle was seen via local surveillance footage driving away from the scene and heading east on Paxton without stopping to provide assistance.

Los Angeles paramedics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to the hospital, where he was later declared dead.

Witnesses were asked to contact Officer Freeman of the LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division if they had any information regarding this event or were in the area at the time of the incident.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the deceased man’s family.
