Los Angeles, CA – Man Hit, Killed in Vehicle Crash on Rondell St
Los Angeles, CA (September 2, 2023) – In Calabasas, a man was hit and killed as he stepped out of his vehicle on Saturday afternoon, September 2.
The deadly accident, as reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, happened at about 2:40 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in the 26400 block of Rondell Street in Calabasas.
Preliminary information indicates a vehicle entered the parking lot from Las Virgenes Road and accelerated uncontrollably, colliding with a parked vehicle, LASD said in a statement.
The man was pinned between both vehicles as he got out of his parked car. Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived and declared the victim dead at the site.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing in the interim.
