Los Angeles, CA – Hit and Run Accident on Sunset Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA (December 17, 2018) – The pedestrian who was killed on Sunset Boulevard on Saturday night shortly after 10:00 during a hit and run car crash has been identified as 39-year-old Jeffrey Cook.
The fatal accident took place just east of Beverly Glen Boulevard in Los Angeles County. Cook was attempting to cross the road mid-block when he was struck by a vehicle headed east. Cook is believed to have been a vagrant. Local firefighters, who arrived promptly on the scene found the victim lying in the roadway where he had died of his injuries. The driver who struck Cook fled the scene instead of stopping and waiting for the authorities as required by law.
