Los Angeles, CA – Hit-and-Run Accident near Avalon Blvd and Lanzit Ave
Los Angeles, CA (August 3, 2019) – An unidentified man was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident Friday night. The incident occurred near the intersection of Avalon Boulevard and Lanzit Avenue around 9:30 p.m.
Although the victim’s identity remains unknown to the public, the man was believed to be in his 50s. Following the devastating collision, he was immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment of his wounds and, unfortunately, would later perish from his wounds.
The suspect that struck that the victim remains at large and authorities are doing everything within their power to track them down. Although no description of the suspect’s vehicle has been released to the public at this time. Whether drugs, alcohol, or human negligence factored into this incident remains under investigation by the LAPD Southern Traffic Division.
