Los Angeles, CA – Head-on Collision at Valinda Ave & Doublegrove St Ends in Serious Injuries
Los Angeles, CA (July 28, 2023) – On Wednesday evening, July 26, a major head-on traffic collision left multiple people hurt, including several children.
Around 9:40 p.m., rescue teams with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, as well as Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office deputies, responded to a collision with reports of children trapped inside a vehicle.
The two-car crash apparently took place near North Valinda Avenue and East Doublegrove Street. Paramedics transferred three children and at least three adults to a local hospital with serious injuries. However, their current conditions are still unknown.
The northbound and southbound lanes at the intersection were closed for several hours as the LAPD conducted their on-scene investigation. No additional information has been provided to the public in the meantime.
