Long Beach, CA – Pedestrian Hurt On Pacific Coast Highway
Long Beach, CA (August 5, 2018) – A pedestrian accident injured one person in Long Beach on Friday night. Just before 8:30 pm, a man crossing the Pacific Coast Highway was struck by a vehicle. The crash occurred near the South Wrigley Neighborhood.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the crash. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the man to a nearby hospital. It is not clear whether the injuries are life-threatening.
The vehicle driver, identified only as a woman, remained on scene to cooperate with investigators. Long Beach police are investigating the incident. At this time, there are no charges and there is no word on the cause of the crash.
