Long Beach, CA – Isaac Jetmore Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Wardlow Road
Long Beach, California (October 27, 2018) – The motorcyclist who was killed Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident in Long Beach has been identified as 17-year-old Isaac Jetmore, of Long Beach, according to authorities. The tragic accident transpired at approximately 12:20 pm Tuesday, October 23rd, at Wardlow Road and Gondar Avenue.
According to officials, Jetmore was riding a black 2012 Yamaha Star motorcycle traveling westbound on Wardlow Road approaching Gondar Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle. A white 2005 Ford F150 was reportedly heading eastbound when the driver attempted to make a left turn onto Gonder Avenue crossing the path of the motorcyclist. The Ford driver told investigators they didn’t see the motorcycle when the two ended up colliding. Sometime later, police and firefighters were dispatched to the crash site where they transported Jetmore to a local hospital to treat the injuries he sustained upon impact of the collision. The 30-year-old driver remained at the scene of the accident and complied with the police. Sadly, Jetmore succumbed to his injuries and later died in the hospital. Alcohol or drugs were not considered to be factors in this fatal accident.
As of now, this investigation is ongoing. As more evidence continues to surface, more information will be released to public sources.
