Laguna Hills, CA – Three Victims Struck & Injured By Wrong-Way Driver at Paseo de Valencia Bus Stop

Laguna Hills, CA (July 28, 2023) – Late Thursday night, July 27, a wrong-way driver struck and injured three people waiting at a bus stop in Laguna Hills.

According to deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened at the intersection of Paseo de Valencia and El Toro Road.

The driver allegedly lost control and crashed into the bus stop while driving in the opposite direction on El Toro Road.

A silver SUV with significant front-end damage was seen on camera by local news footage. Police have launched an investigation, but it’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.

The three victims and the driver were all taken directly to the hospital, though their current conditions are also unknown.

The inquiry is still underway at this time.
