Kern County, CA – Box Truck Accident Leads to Fatality
Kern County, CA (September 7, 2018) – A box truck accident took place in Kern County that led to the death of one driver. The accident took place on September 5 and Hmayak Yeghiazaryan lost his life.
At the time, the 52-year-old man from North Hollywood died after the accident that took place around 3 a.m. Yeghiazaryan was driving his box truck when he collided with a tractor-trailer on the highway.
The accident was reported near the area of the Grapevine Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility around Laval Road.
Yeghiazaryan appeared to not have noticed that a vehicle stopped at the entrance of the facility, which is when the big rig was rear-ended. The driver lost his life at the scene of the accident. The driver of the big rig was not injured.
