Joshua Tree, CA – Pedestrian Accident Ends in Injuries, Police Investigate
Joshua Tree, CA (August 22, 2018) – On August 20, a serious pedestrian accident took place in Joshua Tree that led to injuries at the intersection of Highway 62 and Olympic Road.
The California Highway Patrol investigated and found that an unidentified person was walking across the street and was struck by a black Mazda in the area. It happened around 8:23 p.m.
One ambulance came to the scene to check on the victim in the accident and took them to the hospital with injuries. Their condition has not been released since they were taken.
Police are conducting an investigation to determine how the accident took place, whether or not alcohol played a role, and many other factors.
