Irwindale, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision at Morada St & Arrow Hwy
Irwindale, CA (August 18, 2023) – Officials confirmed that a motorcyclist had been killed in an accident with a 2014 Honda Civic in Irwindale on Friday evening, August 18.
Sgt. Diego Cornejo of the Irwindale Police Department said that at 7:10 p.m. on Friday, the collision occurred at the intersection of Morada Street and Arrow Highway. The incident involved a black 2021 Honda Rebel motorcycle and a Honda Civic that was turning left from Moraga onto Arrow Highway.
A witness contacted 911, and paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded, but the motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene.
Per Cornejo, the Civic’s driver stayed behind and aided authorities in their investigation, which remains ongoing.
Officer Steven Ortiz with the IPD requested that anybody with information regarding this crash contact him.
