Idyllwild, CA – Driver Crashes into Idyllwild Gift Shop, Two Injured
Idyllwild, CA (August 24, 2018) – Two people were injured after a vehicle crashed into an Idyllwild Gift Shop. The accident took place on Tuesday in the unincorporated community.
Police say that a tan SUV crashed into a white Toyota pickup truck. The impact was so forceful that the truck was forced back into the storefront of the local gift shop. There was an employee working in the store at the time who suffered minor injuries due to the impact. The victim was taken to the hospital.
The driver was the second person to receive injuries in the wreck. He was identified as an 80-year-old man who only received minor injuries.
Detectives are still investigating what caused the accident.
