Huntington Beach, CA – Deadly Rollover Crash Takes One Life
Huntington Beach, CA (September 7, 2018) – A deadly rollover crash took place in Huntington Beach that took the life of one person. He was identified as 87-year-old George Trapini.
The accident was initially reported on Friday, August 31. Authorities state that Trapini was a passenger in a Toyota Tacoma that overturned immediately after it was struck by a Ford Crown Victoria. At the time, the 24-year-old driver of the Ford had been traveling in the other direction when he ran into the Toyota for reasons that are not known.
Trapini died at the scene of the accident due to his injuries. An 85-year-old woman who was driving the vehicle Trapini was in was also injured and taken to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Crown Victoria stayed at the scene and cooperated with police over the matter.
