Truck Accidents in Humboldt
Oversized commercial vehicles, such as tow trucks, dump trucks, and 18-wheelers are responsible for a substantial amount of accidents throughout the state of California. Due to the sheer bulk of these trucks, most of them weighing 30 times more than a passenger car, an accident involving one can quickly bring on disastrous, life-altering consequences.
The driver and passengers of the car will inevitably undergo a much worse outcome to a crash than the truck driver. These commercial trucks are also very difficult to handle. Truckers are required to exhibit a reasonable duty of care to obey the rules of the road and to not harm others while they are in operation.
