Hesperia, CA – Three Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident
Hesperia, CA (October 8, 2018) – Three people were left critically injured following a serious hit-and-run accident in Hesperia. The accident took place on Highway 138 early Sunday, October 7.
Police responded to the incident at 12:08 a.m. just west of Summit Valley Road. A red Acura was carrying three young adults at the time and rolled over, landing in a ditch about 20 feet off the side of the road.
Fire Department officials and paramedics quickly responded to the scene and attended to those involved in the accident to find that all three were critically injured. One of the victims was identified as a 16-year-old who was flown to Loma Lida with life-threatening injuries. The others were taken by ground ambulance for treatment.
The second vehicle involved in the accident fled the scene. Authorities are still looking for more information so that they can identify the party involved.
