Helendale, CA – Fatal Accident Involving Motorcycle and Big Rig
Helendale, CA (September 15, 2018) – 34-year-old Martin Fisher was killed in a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a big rig in Helendale. His passenger was seriously injured.
Police say that the accident took place early Friday, September 14. The accident happened on National Trails Highway just north of Vista Drive.
Officers came to the scene of the crash, which happened between a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a big rig truck. The truck reportedly changed lanes and ran over both the motorcyclist and his passenger.
The passenger, identified as a 41-year-old woman, was thrown off the bike with Fisher. They were both lying on the road when officials arrived. Fisher died at the scene of the accident while his passenger suffered major injuries. She was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
