Hayward, CA – One Person Struck in Hit-and-Run Accident
Hayward, CA (November 8, 2018) – On November 7, a motorcyclist received injuries in a hit-and-run accident on the Interstate 880 Freeway in the afternoon hours. The accident took place around 3:49 p.m.
At the time of the accident, the man was riding a motorcycle northbound on the freeway near the Industrial Parkway on-ramp when he was struck by a Toyota Camry. Witnesses who saw the accident take place said that the rider got up after the impact and walked toward the other driver. However, he received injuries.
The identity of the motorcyclist is not known at this time. The driver of the Camry that struck the motorcyclist fled the scene following the accident. Detectives are reporting it now as a hit-and-run.
