Groveland, CA – Fatal Car Collision
Groveland, CA (November 16, 2018) – According to a report issued by the California Highway Patrol, a collision that took place today between two vehicles on Big Oak Flat Road claimed the life of at least one of the people involved.
The accident took place near the historic Yosemite Big Creek Resort shortly before 11:00 in the morning. Police and paramedics arrived on the scene. Police attempted to clear the roadway as the disabled vehicles had been left blocking most of it. According to reports no one could be seen moving inside of either car when the paramedics arrived. At least one car had its airbags deployed. At least one person was pronounced dead.
There has been no update regarding the status of anyone else who was involved in the accident. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
