Grant Hill, CA – Police Car Accident at 6th Street and Skyline Drive
Grant Hill, CA (September 14, 2018) – Police are reporting that one injury stemmed from a police car accident that took place at the intersection of 6th Street and Skyline Drive yesterday morning, September 13.
An officer was responding to an emergency call at the time with their sirens activated and emergency lights flashing. They made a U-turn at the intersection while a Kia was making a right turn. The Kia accidentally clipped the police car.
At least one person inside the Kia suffered injuries. Police determined that there were five people in the vehicle altogether at the time of the collision. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to be okay.
At this time, they do not know if the officer suffered any injuries due to the accident and it remains under investigation.
