Garden Valley, CA – Two Injured In Serious Crash on Georgetown Road
Garden Valley, CA (August 7, 2018) – A two car crash on Tuesday in Garden Valley left two people with serious injuries. The crash occurred just prior to 1:00 pm at on Georgetown Road, near the intersection with Black Oak Mine Road.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene, which involved a Chevrolet Blazer and a Jeep Cherokee SUV. The vehicles were blocking the roadway when police arrived, causing significant traffic delays.
In addition to police, paramedics arrived on scene to provide treatment to the injured victims. Two people were transported to nearby hospitals as a result of injuries suffered in the crash. The nature and extent of injuries is not known at this time.
Police have released no other details regarding this crash. The California Highway Patrol investigation remains ongoing.
