Garden Grove, CA – Man Dies in Pedestrian Wreck on Garden Grove Blvd
Garden Grove, CA (August 28, 2023) – A pedestrian was killed early Monday in Garden Grove after being hit by a vehicle.
John Yergler, a traffic investigator for the Garden Grove Police Department, has determined that the event occurred in the 8700 block of Garden Grove Boulevard, not far from Newland Street.
At around 7:30 a.m., the authorities were called in and discovered that the driver of a silver Lexus RX300 hit the man.
Officials also discovered that the victim was “unresponsive.” Orange County Fire Authority firefighter-paramedics kept up with CPR until the pedestrian was brought to a local hospital, where he was declared dead.
The accident is not thought to be related to alcohol or drug use, but an investigation remains ongoing. Witnesses to the incident are being requested to contact Yergler.
