Garden Grove, CA – 22-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident
Garden Grove, CA (November 9, 2018) – Police are still investigating a hit-and-run accident in Garden Grove that led to the passing of a 22-year-old man, a pedestrian.
Police say that, at the time of the incident on Thursday, November 8, the man had been walking in a marked crosswalk on Brookhurst Street around 9 p.m. Two vehicles ran into the victim and one of the vehicles didn’t stay at the accident scene. The suspect was initially struck by a woman in a Tahoe. The driver stopped, but the victim had been tossed in another lane, where he was struck by another vehicle that kept driving.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian tragically passed away. Police continue to investigate the accident and are searching for the driver responsible.
