Fullerton, CA – One Hospitalized After Truck Accident at Wilshire Ave House

Fullerton, CA (August 25, 2023) – On Friday morning, August 25, the Fullerton Police Department received reports of a collision in which a truck had smashed through a home and trapped a woman inside.

When Fullerton Police Department officers arrived, they discovered the victim trapped beneath a silver Toyota Tacoma pickup vehicle in the area of Wilshire Avenue.

The woman was transferred to an area hospital, where she received treatment for a leg wound that required stitches.

The male driver, later identified, tried to flee the scene but was blocked by bystanders. Surveillance video from the area shows the suspect driving recklessly moments before slamming into the victim’s home.

The police located and arrested the man, who was then brought to a nearby medical facility. The FPD did not give any updates throughout the investigation’s duration.
