Fresno, CA – One Man Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Accident
Fresno, CA (October 14, 2018) – On Friday evening, October 12, one person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident in Fresno. It was deemed a hit-and-run accident on Lane and Winery Avenues.
The collision was reported around 7 p.m. near Pilibos Soccer Park. Police said that a male pedestrian in his 50s was struck for unknown reasons by a vehicle. The victim was left lying in the roadway with major injuries. When emergency responders came to the scene, they transported the pedestrian to the hospital where he has been listed in serious condition.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and did not render aid to the pedestrian. Authorities are still trying to identify the motorist.
