Fresno County, CA: Fatal Crash on Avenue 352 in Kingsburg
Fresno County, California (February 20, 2018): A young Tulare County resident was tragically killed in a terrible motor vehicle crash on Avenue 352 in Kingsburg, CA early yesterday morning, Monday, February 19, 2018. The California Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident and only limited details have been made available.
Officials estimate that the collision occurred around 6:00 a.m. near the intersection of Avenue 352 and North 4th Avenue. According to their preliminary report, the 26-year-old victim had overcorrected his 2016 Nissan SUV after driving onto the dirt shoulder, causing the front left side of the SUV to collide into the front left side of a big rig truck traveling east on Avenue 352. The force of the collision caused the SUV to flip over and the big rig to collide into a power pole.
Reports do not indicate whether the diver of the big rig sustained injuries, and the exact number of individuals involved in the crash is unknown. No further information has been provided at this time.
