Fresno Intersection Accident
Accidents are sometimes more common based on the area where they happened. This is especially true in cases of intersection accidents, which take place due to the actions of those who are making turns or driving straight through. Sometimes, these accidents happen when somebody makes a turn in front of you because they don’t notice you in a crosswalk. In other cases, the driver might be distracted and pull straight through, not paying attention to the flashing signals.
If you have been involved in an accident at an intersection and you believe that another party was at fault, you will have to determine liability by applying the right-of-way laws to your case. If you can show that, at the time of the accident you had a green light and you were fine to proceed, the other party might be held liable for your injuries.
Accidents involving pedestrians at intersections are some of the most serious because pedestrians have little to no protections from harm. You might have been seriously injured in your accident, which means that you will need compensation to aid you in your medical bills, lost wages, and more.
