Fresno, CA: Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision on Olive Avenue
Fresno, California (March 5, 2018): A pedestrian reportedly suffered serious injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Fresno on Saturday night, March 4, 2018. Police are conducting an active investigation into the incident and few details have been made available while the investigation remains ongoing.
Officials believe the accident happened just before 10:00 p.m. in the Tower District of Fresno, CA. The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was reported walking north across Olive Avenue when he was struck by the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, a white mid-size pickup truck with possible front-end damage, did not stop to render assistance and fled the scene, traveling west on Olive Avenue.
The pedestrian victim was transported from the scene to a nearby hospital where he was admitted in serious condition. No updates on his condition have been provided at this time.
