Fresno, CA – Injuries Sustained in Multi-Vehicle Collision Involving a Big Rig on McKinley Avenue
Fresno, California (October 29, 2018) –According to the California Highway Patrol, a traffic collision involving a big rig and a minivan occurred in Fresno on Monday morning. The crash transpired at approximately 7:42 am on the eastbound lane of McKinley at Grantland Avenue, just west of Highway 99. As of now, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.
According to officials, the operator of a big rig was traveling eastbound on McKinley at Grantland Avenue, when for indeterminate reasons, failed to yield to the right of way. The big rig proceeded to collide into a minivan injuring at least one person. Police and firefighters were dispatched to the crash site and transported the injured victim to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment of injuries sustained upon impact of the collision. Emergency crews shut down McKinley Avenue to clear the wreckage off the roadway. The current physical condition of the injured victim has not been released.
