Fresno, CA – Deadly Hit-and-Run Happens on Friant Road
Fresno, CA (September 17, 2018) – In Fresno, a deadly hit-and-run accident took place on Friant Road that took the life of a 43-year-old man. The accident happened on the morning of September 16.
The victim has since been identified as Gavin Gladding. Police say that he was an elementary school administrator in Clovis.
Gladding had been jogging on the shoulder of Friant Road when a vehicle that was headed west suddenly veered over and struck him on the side of the road. He was immediately taken to the Community Regional Medical Center where he later died. The collision happened around 6 in the morning.
The driver did not stop to render aid and police have still not located the vehicle or them. The suspect vehicle, however, was described as a black GMC Sierra with front-end damage. Now, police are trying to identify whoever was driving that vehicle at the time.
