Semi Truck Accidents in California
An accident involving a semi-truck is almost always serious in nature. Typically, we see a semi truck and vehicle collide with one another. When two semi trucks collide, the results can certainly be catastrophic. We hope that the driver injured in this accident is able to make a full and complete recovery.
Semi truck drivers have a duty to drive safely and obey all rules of the road. This duty is magnified because truckers are professional drivers charged with hauling freight over long distances. Semi trucks are large, destructive machines that can be deadly in the event of a crash.
For these reasons, semi trucks are heavily regulated by state and federal laws. Certain policies and procedures must be followed by trucking companies to ensure the safety of their drivers and all other motorists on the road. Unfortunately, it it is common to see trucking companies attempt to subvert these rules and regulations as they try to get more out of their drivers.
