Eureka, CA – Motorcyclist Hurt in Crash on 14th and E Streets

Eureka, CA (July 28, 2018) – A motorcyclist was injured after being struck by a car Friday afternoon in Eureka.  The accident took place at the intersection of 14th and E Streets just after 4:00 pm.

Police report that the motorcycle was traveling through the intersection. At the same time, another vehicle also entered the intersection and collided with the motorcycle.  The impact from the crash forced the motorcyclist to slam into a nearby sign pole.

The motorcycle rider suffered injuries in the crash.  First aid was administered on the scene.  The motorcyclist was later transported to Eureka Hospital.  There is no word on his condition or the extent of his injuries at this time.

Eureka Police are investigating the crash in an effort to determine a cause for the crash.  At this time, there is no word on whether any charges will be issued in connection with the crash.
