Encinitas, CA – One Person Killed at Fire Station Accident Scene
Encinitas, CA (October 10, 2018) – There was one person killed in an accident that took place in Encinitas on October 9 near the Encinitas fire station. She was identified as 76-year-old Lubov Kozelskaya. The accident took place on Balour Drive.
At the time of the accident, Kozelskaya was crossing the roadway when, for reasons that are not yet known, she was struck by a driver in a Prius. The vehicle was traveling northbound at the time.
Paramedics immediately responded to the scene and Kozelskaya was taken to the hospital. However, she later died due to her injuries.
The accident is still being investigated at this time.
