Elverta, CA – Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Accident Leads to Injuries
Elverta, CA (August 23, 2018) – In Elverta, a hit-and-run motorcycle accident led to serious injuries. The accident happened at Elverta Road and Rio Linda Boulevard around 10 p.m. last night.
The California Highway Patrol investigated the accident. They found that the motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle in the area of the intersection. The driver and passenger in the vehicle did not stop but instead kept driving. Witnesses said that the two were in a dark-colored Honda Accord.
The hit-and-run motorist fled the scene but police worked to find them. At this time, they are still investigating.
The motorcyclist had unspecified injuries and was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
