Tractor-Trailer Accidents in Elk Grove
Tractor-trailers and other oversized commercial vehicles cause a lot of accidents across the state of California every single day. Due to the sheer size of these trucks, most of them weighing 30 times as much as a passenger car, an accident involving one could easily produce disastrous, life-altering consequences.
The driver and passengers of the car will almost always experience a far worse outcome to a crash than the truck driver. These commercial trucks are also very difficult to maneuver. Truckers are obligated to demonstrate a reasonable duty of care to obey the rules of the road and to not harm others while they are in operation.
If you or someone you love has been injured or killed in a pedestrian-involved accident then you may have a right to financial compensation to cover any damages such as hospital bills, lost wages due to time away from work, pain and suffering, or even wrongful death.
