El Monte, CA – Andrea Santos Identified In Fatal Hit and Run Incident
El Monte, CA (August 9, 2018) – A tragic pedestrian accident last weekend in El Monte led to the death of one person. The deceased pedestrian was identified by authorities on Thursday as 28-year-old Andrea Santos.
Santos was walking along Rush Street and Rosemead Boulevard around 5:00 am on Sunday, August 5th when she was struck by the vehicle. Paramedics responded to the crash site and performed life-saving measures on Santos. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries.
Police are investigating the crash as a hit-and-run. At this time, there is no information on the suspect. Police have not provided a vehicle description. Officer M.
