Del Norte County, CA – Fatal Accident Involving Truck Takes Life
Del Norte County, CA (September 19, 2018) – A fatal accident involving a truck took place on Monday afternoon, September 17, around 2:30 p.m. near the Gasquet community. It led to the loss of one life.
Police responded to the scene in the afternoon along Highway 199. A semi-truck and a passenger vehicle allegedly collided near Patrick Creek. As a result of the crash, the big rig ended up on top of the vehicle.
At least one person was killed in the accident, who was identified as either a driver or passenger inside the motor vehicle. The truck apparently hit two cars at the time of the accident but police are still determining what caused the driver to lose control, striking them.
