Contra Costa County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Head-on Crash Injures Six
Contra Costa County, CA (August 31, 2018) – Police believe that six people were injured in a serious multi-vehicle head-on crash. The accident happened along Vasco Road on Thursday afternoon.
Police arrived at the scene of the accident at 2:26 p.m. close to the Camino Diablo intersection. Four different vehicles were involved in the head-on crash. A car had been traveling north when its driver suddenly crossed the center line and this led to the crash.
The Fire Department and paramedics came to the scene and attended to possibly six people who were injured in the accident. Two of the patients were in serious condition due to the extent of their injuries and quickly transported to the hospital.
Two people had moderate injuries and two had minor injuries. Their names have not yet been released. The roadway was closed for two hours after the accident took place.
