Concord, CA – Pregnant Woman Struck, Injured in Hit-And-Run
Concord, CA (August 2, 2018) – A pregnant woman and her child were injured in a hit-and-run Tuesday in Concord. The crash took place at the intersection of Treat Boulevard and Clayton Road. That is where police say the woman and her five year old child were in a vehicle when they were struck by another vehicle.
Police believe that the other vehicle was a silver or light blue BMW. Following the collision, the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene. The woman and her child were left behind with moderate injuries. They were sent to the hospital for treatment.
Police have not located the hit-and-run driver. They are looking for a Latino male in his 20s. Authorities believe that the license plate begins with “6MPG.” Anyone with information is urged to alert police.
