Compton, CA – Injuries Occur in Plane Accident at Oleander Ave
Compton, CA (September 3, 2023) – A small plane ran out of fuel and crashed into a Compton neighborhood on Sunday afternoon, September 3.
On Sunday, a report came in about an aircraft accident, prompting the Compton Fire Department to respond to the scene, located near South Oleander Avenue.
As of Sunday afternoon, neither the number of individuals on board nor total injuries in the plane and on the ground have been confirmed. However, EMTs were spotted at the site via local news footage and appeared to assess multiple people for injuries.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and officers with the Compton Police Department asked witnesses to get in touch.
