Coachella, CA – One Person Killed in Rollover Accident at Intersection
Coachella, CA (March 20, 2019) – This morning, around 10:55 a.m., police responded to the scene of a fatal rollover accident that took place at a local intersection. One person lost their life in the crash.
The accident occurred at the intersection of the 86 Expressway and Dillon Road. According to police, a black SUV crashed due to another vehicle. The other vehicle was identified by witnesses as a big rig truck hauling drywall, but police have not been able to locate the vehicle yet.
The SUV overturned and landed on its back wheels in the midst of the crash.
One person lost their life and two ambulances were called to the scene. Multiple injuries were reported but police have not commented on how many.
The accident is still under investigation by police.
